• An orientation session prior to the start of the program will give the participant the opportunity to determine if MBSR is right for him/her.

  • The program consists of eight 2½-hour weekly classes and one all-day Saturday session.

  • In class, participants learn and practice meditation methods such as mindful breathing, mindful yoga, mindful communication skills, and awareness of thoughts, feelings and physical sensations.

  • Group participation in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere provides an interactive experience.

  • Commitment to 30 to 45 minutes daily practice at home during the program.

  • Upon completion of the program, optional participation in drop-in meditation and future all-day sessions.
